Saturday July 5 Day 50 No Riding

This was kind of a Seinfeld day in which 5 friends wandered about the Big Apple just enjoying the street life. In the afternoon we had a good tour of the Teddy Roosevelt birth place and in the evening we went to a show, The Altar Boyz. We had half price orchestra seats so we were very close to some amazingly talented singer/actors. Afterward Jill took us to a restaurant where the wait staff is composed of would be Broadway performers who sang continuously as we ate our after show desserts.
I have failed to report that Paulie arrived two nights ago and it has been very nice for me to see him and Mere interacting with affection and concern for one another.

Tomorrow it is back to the road.
